Not receiving push notifications can be due to various reasons:
1. Permissions in FitterUp are not set correctly
Since we prefer to send only push notifications/alerts that you are waiting for, you can specify how we can reach you.
- Click on More
- Click on Communication settings
- Check if push notifications/alerts are turned on
- Check if specific push notifications/alerts are turned on.
For example, Team challenge, ensures that you receive notifications about challenges. If this is turned off, then you will receive them by email.
2. Permissions in iOS are not set correctly
- Go to the Settings app on your iPhone
- Scroll to the FitterUp app and click on it
- Click on Notifications
- Make sure notifications are turned on here.
3. Multiple devices
If you use multiple devices, only the 'deviceid' of the last device is stored and used for sending push notifications, provided the aforementioned permissions on that device are turned on.
4. Other
Is it still not working? Simply report it via More > Feedback in the app. Then we will look for a solution together.
